I tried for the first time today and I'm not sure I have found the best way to use it yet. It is a place where you can submit, tag, and talk/blog about news articles. It seems there are already quite a lot of users, but unless I'm sitting there browsing through all the articles, I'll be left with only the high-impact ones. I guess the key idea is to let people, not the editor, decide which news items are more interesting than others. But I just feel that in order for that to work you'll have to have lots of 'active' people whom you trust and that seems like a long shot to me yet.
